high five for friday

as an avid blog reader, i have been following thelaurenelizabeth's "high five for friday" link up for quite some time. so without further a-du, i will participate in my very first HF4F!!

1. i took a buzzfeed quiz the other day "what is your hidden talent?' and i got ballet. i laughed to myself because i used to dance for years, including ballet and point.

2. i came across this meow sweatshirt this week and i just have to have it. hint hint cough cough birthday coming up ;)

3. Frozen became available on iTunes this week, let me just put the movie on repeat since i've had the soundtrack on repeat since i saw the movie for the first time; and for those other frozen lovers out there i have a joke for you...

4. one of my older sisters is coming to visit me today and i'm so excited to see her!! we have a lot of exciting things planned!

i've been following two thirds hazel for a while now and i just love her witty sense of humor. when she first did her own version of a cosmo quiz i was cracking up at her answers. well she brought it back for a round two in a link up form and i figured, why not participate in my very first link up! hope it works!

the beginning

welcome to messy buns and yoga pants!

i am a twenty-something, junior in college studying early childhood education at the university of alabama. i was raised in the volunteer state and sometimes you can still find me bleeding orange.

i have a special love for little babies and children and every day that i spend with them is a great day. kate spade, japanese food, and target are some easy ways into my heart. i have a hermit crab, olivia, who i bought as a "when in rome" (or florida) and 5 years later she's still kicking.

i like to use lower case letters, i have a slight obsession with washi tape, and my best friend is my cat. i love to cheer on my school at football games and gymnastics meets, i am a tucker at pure barre, and just recently i am a vegetarian.

my friends and family mean the world to me and without them i would have nothing.

so join me on this journey of finishing school and having some fun in between; but first lets all throw our hair into messy buns and put on some yoga pants.
