messy buns and yoga pants: April 2014

it all started with me and our great family friend staying up till midnight on march 25th to order my first legal drink

fireball and coke, for those wondering

i woke up march 26th to my mother serving me breakfast in bed on nothing less than a silver tray. i'm not the favorite, spoiled baby of the family or anything :)

it was a quite healthy breakfast... jk

i went downstairs to see my family room had been transformed into a twenty-fun room

mother an i spent the day together getting lunch with my sister at my second favorite Italian restaurant, fazolis, and getting our nails done together

we quickly returned home and got all dressed up for my family celebration, but i quickly convinced mother and father we had more than enough time to open some presents first

our family does memory boxes for our 21st, which means on your twenty first birthday you open boxes of memories, anything from elementary papers to old toys from the year you were born. this was me opening my snow white box; the whole box was filled with snow white memorabilia and had a lot of sleepy dwarfs, my mom and dad couldn't stop saying how did they pick out the dwarf that would be the definition of me twenty one years ago?! very funny mom and dad, i do more than just sleep... sometimes ;)

we picked up our family friends and headed off to a fancy dinner with part of my family and some of my friends

i received many great gifts that night and had a blast celebrating with my family. mother and father went the extra mile to make sure that my birthday was one special day!

... so sorry i went off the grid for a while.

it all started with just wanting to take a week for spring break, then the week i got back to school was filled with lots of assignments, that weekend i flew to charlotte for a reason i will explain in a later blog post, i got back to school this past tuesday and then that week just flew by. but no more excuses i will try my best to have 5 posts for y'all this week. i have three case studies due this week and two tests, but no worries i will survive because i am heading to the beach for a long weekend this weekend. seems like all i do is travel, but i promise i really don't!

anyway, let's have a spring break recap!

my parent's picked me up in alabama on the thursday before spring break and we set off for a long weekend in florida before heading back to tennessee for the rest of my spring break.

we kicked off my birthday week with a birthday dinner at one of my favorite italian restaurants and treated ourselves to a yummy dessert prepared table side
